Plate ice ranges from 10mm to 15mm in thickness and has no fixed shape. Focusun plate ice machines are made for industrial application and are used regularly in concrete cooling, food processing, seafood cooling and preservation.

We customized the plate ice machine for our customer from Indonesia. Parts contacting the water are made of stainless steel SUS304, because this machine was used in food processing and preservation. Hygiene must be complied with the food standards.

The produced plate ice is sub-cooled to -1,5°C/-2°C. One of the advantages of plate ice is that it has an even cooling effect and a constant refrigeration temperature. It also doesn’t melt easily and therefore can be stored for a longer time, up to 30% more compared to other types of ice.
